Future POS Boasts Another Exceptional Year in 2014
2014 has been a year of unprecedented growth for Future POS Software Company, both in sales, as well as the software they produce. In its 16th year in business, end of the year earnings report over 22% growth in company sales from last year. John Giles, President and CEO, who founded the company in 1998, has lead Future POS with double digit growth year after year based on one simple philosophy, “I like to invest and reinvest in the core product, and to hire the best and brightest programmers in the industry.”
Future POS added another industry “first” this year by adding a new cross platform Mobile POS offering. This groundbreaking app runs on both Android and iOS, so you can run it on an iPad, iPad Mini, Android Tablet and/or run it on the new 15” Android All-In-One’s that were released this year. According to Giles, “Our Dealers now have all the tools in their arsenal to combat the Tablet POS newcomers, and it will also be offered in a SaaS model so that there’s no reason to lose business to the Tablet science projects ever again.”
Future POS also added another industry award to its lineup this summer by receiving the “GOLD Vendor of Excellence” Award by the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) at an awards ceremony held at The Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida. The Retail Solutions Providers Association is the only association dedicated to the retail technology industry. Company President, John Giles, was also recognized in his hometown of Butler, PA which is where Future POS Corporate is based, with the “2014 William A. Morgan Jr. Entrepreneur of the Year Award” presented by The Butler County Chamber of Commerce. The award is given to an outstanding business owner and was presented to Giles at an awards ceremony at Slippery Rock University in September.
Some famous chefs trusted Future POS Software to run their restaurants in 2014 including the new “Kingside Restaurant” by Chef Marc Murphy, “Heddon Street” by Michelin Star Celebrity Chef and TV Personality, Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Bourdain’s two New York restaurants, Les Halles on Park Ave and Les Halles on John Street. Bourdain is an American chef, author, and television personality.
Future POS added some impressive restaurant chains to their repertoire this year including: Chop’t Creative Salad Company, Steak Escape, Teresa’s Pizza, and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, just to name a few. Other High Profile installs included: “Brookdale Senior Living Centers” (with locations Nationwide), the live music venue “Cobra Lounge” in Chicago, “Level 257” (Namco) of Pacman and arcade fame launching the first of its kind family entertainment center in Chicago, Gerber Groups “Whiskey Blue and 201” are in New York’s “W Hotels” which are Starwood Properties, as well as “The Roof” located on top of The Viceroy.
