Coming to a Fairground Near You…

Future POS Software is proud to be partnered with the new State of the Art “Indiana State Fairgrounds” that just underwent a $63 million renovation and has declared 2014 as the “Year of the Coliseum”. The Indiana State Fair is the state’s largest multi-day event celebrating Hoosier’s spirit since 1952.

The 75 year old Fairgrounds Coliseum offers modern event facilities that host conventions, trade shows, conferences, concerts, fairs, exhibitions, weddings, retreats as well as The Indy Fuel, a Minor Hockey League Team and both the IUPUI Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. With over 1,000,000 square feet of event space the Fairgrounds serves as the premier event venue in the state of Indiana and is one of Indiana’s top tourist destinations, annually attracting 2 million visitors to its 250 acre campus.

As one might expect, catering and concessions come hand and hand with any fair, and the Indiana State Fairgrounds partnered with one of the best. The Savor Society ( has a long track record of providing unique, fun foods as well as upscale options to the concessions. The Savor offers mainstream arena staples like gourmet burgers, fresh cut fries, as well as flat breads and pizza. They also highlight Indiana Products, such as Indiana Micro Brews, Hoosier Momma Bloody Mary Mix and various Indiana Dairy Products.

In collaboration with The Savor Society, Future POS has installed 16 Point-of-Sale terminals in the brand new, state of the art concessions along with 6 digital signage menu boards that display all of the products and pricing. The install was rolled out seamlessly thanks in part to the expert technicians at Future POS Ohio.

Stadiums, large arenas and fair grounds are not new to Future POS as we have a large install base. It just serves to confirm the rock solid stability and flexibility that Future POS Software brings to the table. We can run a single terminal unit in a small restaurant and can also handle a large 77 terminal stadium all with the same confidence.
