Murphy’s Deli, a (Cold) Cut Above the Rest
As part of our Dealer Installs series, we’ve invited our dealers to share some of their new and exciting Future POS installations. Today’s post looks at Murphy’s Deli franchise locations in Texas, installed by Future POS authorized dealer, Houston POS Solutions.
The first Murphy’s Deli was opened in 1993 in Stafford, Texas and the company has grown exponentially since. Offering quality deli items at an affordable price, the first Murphy’s Deli was created to offer a more extensive deli menu than the traditional sub shop. In fact, now in its twenty-first year of business, Murphy’s Deli doesn’t just offer the typical sandwich; they also offer delicious wraps, fresh and creative salads, specialty sandwiches, a full catering menu, and much much more. You can view the full menu on the Murphy’s Deli website.
Although the individual system installations are basic, running between one and four point-of-sale terminals per store, they pack a powerful punch. Because of the size of the Murphy’s Deli chain, Houston POS Solutions suggested an installation with Enteprise capabilities; enabling the stores to communicate via a high speed internet connection. Not only does Future POS Enterprise allow users to share buttons and items between stores, but with recent additions to the software, buttons and items can now be added to the system in advance and scheduled to display on the store’s Front End automatically. The Enterprise solution also allows store data to be accessed from a central location, making reporting for all locations quicker and more efficient.
